Hi there. My name is Shabnam Jesgar, and I am a Licensed Professional (Clinical) Counselor in California and Georgia.

My specialties are:

Infertility - I help women who are feeling overwhelmed with their fertility journeys find a place to unload. I have the specialized training to understand and treat the emotions that comes with trying to grow your family. I understand that feelings can be mixed and confusing. Together we will meet regularly to talk about the bumps and successes in your journey. I can provide guidance on how to manage close and family relationships during this time.

My clients share that after meeting with me they feel heard, understood, and even lighter. Sometimes we even laugh in session.

Stress & Anxiety - I help adults who are feeling overloaded with demanding careers and family life. I teach techniques that are evidence-based but I don’t have a cookie cutter approach.

With me, you can expect to learn ways to manage stress that make sense for you.

I use various techniques in my sessions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. If you like homework, I can give you homework between sessions. If that feels overwhelming, we will skip it. My office is a place for me to listen to you and for you to feel understood.
